Heart of the Misty Mountains near Ravenshoe in the Cairns Highlands, Far North (Tropical) Queensland, The Pond Cottage B&B is self-contained. The 14-acre property abounds with wild life. Eight species of kangaroo, twelve species of possum and many of the local 340 bird species are found on the property or nearby. There are two platypus ponds on the grounds.
