Located in the evergreen hills of the Portuguese Estremadura, A Colina Atlântica is an unique place to be. The former apple farm provides you with the literal as well as the metaphorical space to get in touch with yourself and others. Good atmosphere, personal attention and contact are what we stand for.
If you like you can join the guided mediation, every day at 9.00 AM at the pyramid-shaped attic, to gain inspiration and energy for the day. Those who so desire, can get a Reiki-treatment. Tarot-sessions can help you find answers to the questions that preoccupy you.
There is wonderful walking nearby. Or you might want to make a trip to the monasteries of Alcobaça and Batalha, the picturesque villages of Óbidos and Nazaré, regional markets, seaside resorts or beautiful unspoilt beaches. For groups we can provide private transport.
Our four bright and comfortable guestrooms and three caravans are surrounded by gardens with terraces and the former orchard, now a lovely park stretching to the top of the hill with its spectacular panoramic views.
At the end of the day you may enjoy a delicious homecooked meal at A Colina Atlântica (four times a week) or in one of the restaurants at walking distance. In our cosy self-service bar you can help yourself to a snack and a drink
